Public Pedagogy

A public intervention aimed at sparking a dialogue about curriculum, in all its forms.

I Wish I Had Learned...

I Wish I Had Learned...

Coming in and out of the library, patrons reflect on what they wish they had learned. What should schools have taught them? What lacks do they identify in their education? Where do society’s responsibilities lie?

I Loved Learning...

I Loved Learning...

Passerby shared what they enjoyed learning. This participant lingered to talk about what he taught himself.

I Wish I Had Learned...

I Wish I Had Learned...

Passerby might be surprised at this prompt to reflect on learning superimposed on an advertisement exhorting them to commit to a better body and stronger self.

In that juxtaposition, participants are invited to reflect on what longings, desires, and wishes they might have for learning.

I Loved Learning...

I Loved Learning...

Participants are invited to share what they loved learning . . . what they found delightful, satisfying, enjoyable, worthwhile.
